one who is given the opportunity to go on this blessed journey, he should maintain utmost reverence. He should not consider it to be mere entertainment like other worldly journeys by wasting its precious moments, rather, he should understand its greatness and importance.

When we are honoured to travel on this blessed journey, we ought to maintain respect and take special care not to perform any such action which causes the entire journey to become wasted. Some foolish people do not avoid joking and amusement even at such sacred places, and they remain engaged in worldly speech and are seen to violate their sanctities. There is no telling of how many people’s Hajj and Umrah are ruined due to the actions of such individuals and how their presence of heart is affected. In order to learn about the greatness and loftiness of this journey, we should study the practise of the awliya and pious predecessors رَحْمَۃُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَیْہِمْ اَجْمَعِیْن, and reflect on how the other visitors would benefit from their blessings and how their Hajj would be accepted by means of them.

Excellences of Makkah al-Mukarramah

Dear Islamic brothers, if only we are also granted those blessed moments in our lives where we are granted the opportunity to visit Makkah al-Mukarramah, and alongside witnessing the beautiful scenes of visiting and making tawaf of the Kaaba, we are granted the honour of visiting the sacred places there. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه, Makkah Mukarramah is such a blessed and great city that every Muslim has a desire and longing to visit it. Let us hear some virtues of this sacred city in light of the blessed Hadith:
