Sayyiduna Ziyaad bin Ubaid رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه reports, “Allah Almighty has a right over the one who is given a blessing; he must not disobey Allah by means of that blessing.”[1] It is unfortunate that most people disobey Allah even during occasions of happiness and joy. Immodesty is prevalent, the rights of people are violated, and other sins are performed, thus earning the displeasure of Allah.مَعَاذَ اللہ Some foolish people organise gatherings of music and dance to celebrate their happiness. Men and women spend the entire night in immodesty and sin and fill their eyes with haram. They are unaware this is the work of the Devil. Remember, the nations who disobeyed Allah in their comforts and luxuries fell into nothing but destruction. It is mentioned in volume 4, page 27 of Tafseer Siraat ul-Jinaan:

This is an unavoidable law causing the rise and fall of previous and present nations. Expressing thanks upon receiving and fulfilling the right of a blessing causes it to increase, and being ungrateful is a means of punishment. Remember, this law is not specific to non-Muslim nations, rather, if Muslims adopt
