Sayyiduna Abu Umamah رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ narrated that the Greatest Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: Indeed, the one most worthy of envy from among my friends is the Muslim who lacks possessions, whose share in Salah is large, who worships his Lord well and obeys Him (even) in private. He remains hidden among the people such that fingers are not pointed towards him. His provisions are sufficient for his needs and he is patient over it. Then he صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘His death comes quickly, his mourners are few, and his inheritance is little.’ (Sunan-ut-Tirmizi, Kitab-uz-Zuhd, vol. 4, p. 155, Hadith 2354)

Dear Islamic brothers! If we see someone enjoying worldly possession, then instead of becoming jealous, we should excel each other in earning virtues, look towards pious people and attempt to adopt their righteous habits and adopt good traits like them. May Allah Almighty grant us the mindset to save ourselves from jealousy and other internal maladies while striving to seek their cure.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! Allah Almighty forbid! If we are afflicted with this deadly malady then we should not delay its cure. First of all, seek repentance in the court of Allah Almighty and invoke: O Allah! Grant me steadfastness in refraining from this internal malady.  آمینAlso, focus on the destructions of jealousy, as jealousy invokes the displeasure of Allah Almighty and His Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, it ruins our good deeds, and along with committing other sins, we lose our peace.

Therefore, we should not become jealous and incur enmity of others who are surrounded by blessings; instead, we should yearn to become like pious people, because the Greatest Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has encouraged us to outdo each other in good deeds. The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated: Jealousy is not allowed except over two people
