According to the schedule of the study circle for the weekly Sunnah-inspired Ijtima of Da’wat-e-Islami, ‘the Du’a for ample sustenance in old age’ will be learnt. The Du’a is as follows:

اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ اَوْسَعَ رِزْقِكَ عَلَیَّ عِنْدَ كِبَرِ سِنِّي وَانْقِطَاعِ عُمْرِی

(Mustadrak, vol. 2, pp. 236, Hadees 2031)

Translation: O Allah Almighty! Grant me your most abundant sustenance when I reach old age and the end of my life. (Fazaail-e-Du’a, pp. 282)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                           صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Method of collective Fikr-e-Madinah (72 Madani In’amaat)

Saying of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم: Pondering (over the Hereafter) for a moment is better than the worship of 60 years.

(Al-Jami’-us-Sagheer, pp. 365, Hadees 5897)

Let’s make ‘good intentions’ before filling in the Madani In’amaat booklet:

1.   To please Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ, I will carry out today’s Fikr-e-Madinah (i.e. self-accountability) myself through the Madani In’amaat booklet and persuade others as well.

2.   I will praise (i.e. thank) Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ for the Madani In’amaat which I practised.
