i.e. “whosoever likes the fact that Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ gets pleased with him when he is presented in His Blessed Court, he should recite Durood Shareef upon me in abundance.” (Firdaus-ul-Akhbar, vol. 2, pp. 284, Hadees 6083)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب              صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! Before listening to the Bayan, let’s first of all make good intentions for attaining the Divine pleasure and earning rewards. The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said, ‘نِيَّةُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِ خَيۡرٌ مِّنۡ عَمَلِهٖ’ The intention of a Muslim is better than his deed. (Al-Mu’jam-ul-Kabeer, vol. 6, pp. 185, Hadees 5942)

An important point

For righteous and permissible work the more we make good intentions, the more we attain reward.

Intentions of listening to Bayan

   ۔1Lowering my eyes, I will listen to the Bayan attentively.

   ۔2Instead of resting against a wall, etc., I will sit in Attahiyyaat position as long as possible with the intention of showing respect for religious knowledge.

   ۔3When I hear صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب, اُذۡكُرُوا اللّٰه, تُوۡبُوۡا اِلَي اللّٰه, etc., I will reply loudly with the intention of gaining reward and pleasing those who make Sada [call out] loudly.

   ۔4After the Bayan, I will approach people to say Salaam, shake hands and to make individual efforts upon them.

Dear Islamic brothers! اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه in today’s speech, we will have the privilege to listen to some of the characters and manners from the lives of the Blessed Companions رَضِیَ اللہُ  عَنْہُمْ اَجْمَعِیْن, blessed Saints رَحْمَۃُ اللّٰہ ِ  عَلَیْہِمْ اَجْمَعِیْن and Mufti-e-Dawat-e-Islami Mufti Muhammad Farooq Attari Madani رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه.
