صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                  صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Special door of Sky was opened for Mi’raaj:

Dear Islamic brothers! The glory and greatness of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم during the journey of Mi’raaj can also be judged by the fact that there are many doors in the sky which are opened at different times for different types of work. One of them was opened only on Mi’raaj night especially for the honour and respect of our Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. That door had neither been opened for anyone else before, nor will it be opened for anyone else after the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ has narrated that Sayyiduna Jibra’eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم was sitting near the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم (on Mi’raaj night). The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, meanwhile, heard a voice from the sky. As he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم heard the voice he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم raised his blessed head. Sayyiduna Jibra’eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم humbly said: O the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, the door that has been opened is the door of the sky which had never been opened before. Then an angel came down through the door. Sayyiduna Jibra’eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم humbly said: It is the angel that had never come down to the earth before. Having said Salam in the court of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم the angel humbly said: I give you good news of two such Noors which had never been bestowed upon anyone except you before (1) Surah Fatihah (2) Last Ayahs of Surah Baqarah. You will be rewarded for every letter of these both. (Muslim, pp. 314, Hadees, 1877)
