condition and their affairs at that time and nor talk about anything prior to thinking carefully as many times misfortune befalls due to tongue. This blessed saying gives us the lesson of peace and safety till the Judgement Day. Restraining from talking irresponsibly can protect us from many troubles. Staying at home and not intermingled with people are means of being safe from sins. (Mirqat-ul-Mafatih, vol. 9, pp. 278, Hadees 5398)

We have to kill our Nafs and bad desires for becoming pious; if we become pious, it will affect our home and also subordinate Islamic brothers.

Piety is human’s precious jewellery and wealth.

To have wrong friendship with people and holding unnecessary conversation about current affairs can be harmful.

In our age, the great sources of Fitnahs are mobile phone, laptop, internet etc. Use them carefully. They should be used in a limit when necessary.

Stay away from the harm of current conditions. Protect yourself as well as others from the evil influence of these things.

The internal Fitnah of a person is this that his heart becomes hard, he does not feel the sweetness of worship nor does he feel pleasure in supplications.

It is stated in a Hadees that woman is the Fitnah (i.e. test) for this Ummah. The Prophet of Rahmah, the Intercessor of Ummah صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said: ‘مَا تَرَكۡتُ بَعۡدِيۡ فِتۡنَةً اَضَرَّ عَلَي اُمَّتِي مِنَ النِّسَاءِ عَلَي الرِّجَال’, i.e. After me [after the blessed apparent life], I have left the biggest Fitnah on the men of Ummah and that is the Fitnah of women.

Keep reciting the following Du’a:

اَللّٰہُمَّ  اِنِّی  اَعُوْذُبِكَ  مِنْ   فِتْنَۃِ   النِّسَاۤءِ  وَ  اَعُوْذُبِكَ   مِنْ  عَذَابِ  الْقَبْر

i.e. O Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! I seek Your protection from the Fitnah of woman and the torment of grave. (I’tilal-ul-Quloob, vol. 1, pp. 203, Raqm 200)
