If a candle, lamp, lantern, electrical lamp or chandelier is in front during prayer, there is no dislike, as they are not worshipped. However, if there is a blazing fire, or a furnace of glowing embers, or a stove or a brazier in front, it is makrūh because fire-worshippers worship such things.^[1]

May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to learn the correct rulings of Islam and act upon them.

اٰمِیْنْ بِجَاہِ خاتَمِ النَّبِیّٖن صلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہ ِوَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The blessings of al-Asmāˈ al-Ḥusnā

یَا بَاعِثُ

Whosoever recites یَا بَاعِثُ seven times and blows upon himself before going to a ruler (or person of authority), the ruler will be compassionate اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه.^[2]

May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to act upon this.
