was allowed to do trade in the market place.  The Leader of the Believers, Sayyidunā ꜤUmar رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ would say: “Only that individual should come to our marketplace who is a scholar, otherwise, he will end up consuming usury.”^[1]

One of the 12 religious activities: Waking others for Fajr

Dear Islamic brothers! To attain the pleasure of Allah Almighty, to act upon the teachings of Islam in the true sense and to become a practicing Muslim, take part in the 12 religious activities of Dawat-e-Islami. One of these 12 religious activities is to wake others for Fajr salah.

Waking others for Fajr salah is a sunnah of the Beloved Prophet   صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم  , with the passion for following the Sunnah of the Beloved Prophet   صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم  , those affiliated with Dawat-e-Islami, go from street to street, reciting ṣalāt upon the Holy Prophet   صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم   and inviting others to leave their beds and come for Fajr salah. You should also partake in this religious activity by waking up early, and if possible, offer Tahajjud salah and engage in dhikr. Then, after Fajr adhan, as per the guidelines of Dawat-e-Islami’s Central Executive Committee, wake others for Fajr. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه, By doing this, you will gain immense reward.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Some pearls of wisdom for earning a halal livelihood

Dear Islamic brothers! Let us listen to some pearls of wisdom regarding earning a halal livelihood. First, let us listen to two blessed sayings of the Merciful Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم :

(1)    “The one who has pure income will attain Paradise.”^[2]
