Book Name:بِسْمِ اللہ Ki Barkatein
He replied, “We all recited بِسْمِ اللہِ when eating. A person then sat to eat without reciting بِسْمِ اللہِ, so Satan ate along with him.”[1]
Umm al-Muʾminīn, Lady ꜤĀˈishah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا relates how the final Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “Whenever a person eats, he should mention the name of Allah. If he forgets to recite بِسْمِ اللہِ at the beginning, he should recite بسم اللہِ اَوَّلَہ ٗ وَ اٰخِرَہ ٗ.”[2]
Dear Islamic brothers! Always recite بِسْمِ اللہِ before eating food. Whoever does not recite بِسْمِ اللہِ, a Satan called Qarīn shares in his food.
Recite بِسْمِ اللہِ before wuḍū
As narrated by the Companion Abū Hurayrah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ, the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم declared, “O Abū Hurayrah! When you perform wuḍū, recite بسم اللہِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہ. As long as your wuḍū remains, your angels (Kirāman Kātibīn) will continue to write good deeds for you.”[3]
