respect, love, devotion, manners and heartfelt etiquette for their   Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم .

Remember! From the blessed era of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم till today, all the honourable Companions  رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُم , all their successors, all Islamic scholars, all the saints of Islam and every single Muslim have been exhibiting utmost respect for the final Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم in one way or another, and اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه   they will continue doing this noble act until the Day of Judgement! Why shouldn’t one do so, as respecting the most honourable Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is absolutely essential for the faith of a Muslim! Allah says in the Quran:

اِنَّاۤ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ شَاهِدًا وَّ مُبَشِّرًا وَّ نَذِیْرًاۙ(۸) لِّتُؤْمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَ رَسُوْلِهٖ وَ تُعَزِّرُوْهُ وَ تُوَقِّرُوْهُؕ-وَ تُسَبِّحُوْهُ بُكْرَةً وَّ اَصِیْلًا(۹)

“We have indeed sent you (O Beloved) as a Present Eyewitness (i.e. Haazir and Naazir); and a Conveyor of glad tidings, and a Warner. In order that, O people, you may believe in Allah and His Messenger, and honour and revere the Messenger (i.e. the Beloved Prophet Muhammad), and you should glorify Allah, morning and evening.”^[1]

As explained by the famous scholar, Qaḍi ‘Iyāḍ  رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه : “Allah has commanded people to show respect and reverence to His Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم , and He has declared this to be compulsory.”^[2]

The great jurist, Jalal al-Dīn Ahmad Amjadi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه further expands upon this subject:

The command issued in this verse, which ordains for us to respect and revere the Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم , does not only say
