It is clear Allah Himself chose these names for His Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم . If Allah Almighty had not liked these names, He would not have chosen them for His beloved  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم .^[1]

If you keep the name ‘Muhammad’, give it due respect

Dear Islamic brothers, out of respect for the Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم , we should also cherish and revere his blessed name, as doing so has been encouraged in a hadith. The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stated:    اِذَا سَمَّیْتُمُ الْوَلَدَ مُحَمَّداً فَاَکْرِمُوْہ - “When you name your son ‘Muhammad’, you should respect him.”^[2]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب             صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers, true devotees of the Messenger have their hearts brimming with prophetic love. Such people consider taking the name of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم without wudu to be in opposition to manners. If we truly desire to show respect and reverence like this, we must change our company. We must remain with pious, righteous and morally upright individuals.

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه In today’s day and age, the Islamic environment of Dawat-e-Islami is nothing short of a huge bounty from Allah. Not only does it offer countless worldly and religious benefits, but it allows a person to attain the priceless treasures of fearing Allah and loving the Prophet                      صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم .
