*   One method of protecting one’s faith is to give bay’ah to a perfect spiritual guide.

*   Giving bay’ah to a shaykh who fulfils all the necessary conditions, is a traditional Sunnah of the Muslims that has been passed down throughout the centuries, and it contains countless blessings and benefits for a person’s faith, as well as their matters in this world and Hereafter.^[1]

*   A murshid is followed in order to prepare and better a murid’s Hereafter. With his guidance, spiritual rectification, and blessings, a murid can live in his life carrying out work which pleases Allah and His Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, and avoid doing that which displeases them.^[2]
