from the path of Tariqah. It means that he has lost connection with his murshid’s blessings.^[1]

Dear Islamic brothers!  In the current era, if you want to see a true murid, then the blessed personality of Shaykh-e-Tareeqat, Ameer e Ahl e Sunnat, the founder of Dawat-e-Islami, ‘Allamah Abu Bilal Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qaadiri Razavi Ziyai دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـه is in front of us. He duly and wholeheartedly observed respect and devotion towards his murshid, Sayyidi Qutb-e-Madinah ‘Allamah Ziyauddin Ahmad Madani Qadiri Razavi رَحْمَةُ اللهِ عَلَيْه. Due to this, Allah Almighty bestowed His blessings upon him to such an extent that today he has become renowned all over the world.

Dear Islamic brothers! If we also want Allah Almighty and His beloved Messengerصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم to remain pleased with us, and we want to become a true murid, we must strictly observe the golden principles of respect and reverence. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه , by the virtue of its blessings, we will achieve success.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                            صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Madani pearls of knowledge regarding oath of allegiance (bay’ah)

Dear Islamic brothers! Let’s now go on to discuss some Madani pearls of knowledge regarding bay’ah. Bay’ah means, to take a spiritual oath of allegiance with a qualified spiritual guide, who is otherwise known as a murshid.

*   In this world, one should take a pious person as their Imam. In Shar’i matters, one should make taqlid, which means to conform to the teachings of a mujtahid. In matters of spirituality, one should take bay’ah, which entails spiritual affiliation and allegiance. In this way, a person will be raised in the company of the pious people he followed, on the Day of Judgement.^[2]
