Book Name:Sab Say Barh Kar Sakhi

Madrasa-tul-Madina for adults

Dear Islamic brothers! In order to gain steadfastness upon spreading the invitation towards righteousness, performing good deeds, and saving yourself and others from sin, affiliate yourself with the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami and strive to take part in the 12 Madani Works of your Zayli Halqah. From amongst these 12 religious works, one monthly religious work is Madrasa-tul-Madina for adults. Within the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami, daily classes take place within each Zayli Halqah where adult Islamic brothers are taught how to recite the Quran with the correct points of articulation (Makharij), which is known as Madrasa-tul-Madina Baalighan.

Dear Islamic brothers! The Holy Quran was revealed in Arabic, to our Arabic master, the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, who instructed us to recite the Quran in the accent of the Arabs with the following words: ‘اِقْرَؤُوا الْقُرْاٰنَ بِلُحُوْنِ الْعَرَب’, meaning, ‘Recite the Holy Quran in an Arabic style and accent.’ (Nawadir-ul-Usool, vol. 2, p. 242)

Unfortunately, there are now very few people who recite the Holy Quran with correct pronunciation and in an Arabic accent. Remember! It is obligatory (Fard) to recite the Holy Quran whilst adhering to the rules of pronunciation. If one distorts the meaning by committing Lehn-e-Jali (i.e. changing one letter for another), then the Salah will become invalid. This is why those Islamic brothers who do not know how to recite the Quran with correct pronunciation are taught how to recite the Quran correctly under Madrasa-tul-Madina (for adults). The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated: ‘خَیْرُکُمْ مَّنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْاٰنَ وَ عَلَّمَهٗ’, meaning, ‘The best from among you is the one who learnt the Quran and taught it to others.’ (Bukhari, p. 1299, Hadith 5027)
