3. Wish well for other Muslims
The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: Whosoever distances one worldly worry from a Muslim, Allah Almighty will relieve one of his worries on the Day of Judgement, and whosoever facilitates ease for the poor in this world, Allah Almighty will create ease for him in this world and the hereafter, and whosoever veils the faults of a Muslim in the world, Allah Almighty will veil his faults in this world and the hereafter, and as long as a person continues helping his (Muslim) brother, Allah Almighty continues to help him. (Jami’ Al-Tirmizi, vol. 3, p. 373, Raqm 1937)
4. Remove hatred and animosity from your heart!
If you find hatred or animosity for a Muslim within your heart, then get rid of it, for as long as you harbour hatred for someone in your heart, you will not be content to spend upon them or assist them in any way. As such, in order to get rid of hatred and animosity, and to foster love between one another, giving Salam and shaking hands is beneficial. It is narrated in a blessed Hadith: Shake hands; animosity will be removed, and give gifts; love will increase and hatred will be distanced. (Muatta Imam Malik, vol. 2, p. 407, Raqm 1731)
5. Attach yourself to the religious environment
Dear Islamic brothers! If we desire to obtain a mindset of giving charity and Sadaqa, then we should affiliate ourselves with the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه, through the blessings of this, alongside the disease of stinginess, many other maladies will be removed, and an enthusiasm for becoming pious will also be attained.
