squeezing the shroud, ensure that not even a single drop of this sacred water goes into the drain. Squeeze the water onto some plant etc. (One can also sprinkle Zamzam water over the shroud in his own country.)

٭ When performing Tawaf or Sa’ee, the pages of Hajj books are sometimes found lying on the ground. Pick them up, if possible. However, ensure that your back or chest does not face the Ka’bah during the Tawaf. However, do not pick someone’s money or wallet lying on the ground.

٭ Avoid wearing used slippers when making Wudu at a washbasin because water is often spread over the floor near the washbasin. If the slippers are impure, there is the risk of splashes coming onto your clothes.

٭ Usually the flow of water is quite high in the taps of Mina Shareef; so open the tap slowly to remain safe from the splashes of water.
