آنسوؤں کی لڑی بن رہی ہو

اور آہوں سے پھٹتا ہو سینہ

وِردِ لَب ہو ’’مدینہ مدینہ‘‘

جب چلے سُوئے طیبہ سفینہ

جب مدینے میں ہو اپنی آمد

جب میں دیکھوں تِرا سبز گنبد

ہِچکیاں باندھ کر روؤں بے حد

کاش! آجائے ایسا قرینہ

Dear Islamic sisters! Those who display a sign of Hajj Mubarak on their homes and spread the news of their Hajj all around without any good intention and just for the charm of their Nafs and desire for attaining fame, a narration based on the highest level of humility is presented for them.

Sayyiduna Sufyan Sawri رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه left walking for Hajj from Basra. Somebody humbly asked: ‘Why don’t you ride (upon a mean of transport)?’ He رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه replied: ‘Should a fled slave go to the court of his Merciful Lord riding (upon a mean of transport) in order to reconcile? I feel extremely embarrassed in going to that sacred land.’ (Tanbih-ul-Mughtarrin, pp. 267; Rafeeq-ul-Haramayn, pp. 54)

Dear Islamic sisters! It is a great privilege to visit Haramayn Tayyibayn. Therefore, whenever you attain this joyous opportunity, embark on this blessed journey with extreme respect and reverence and by being an embodiment of humility and humbleness. Observe patience upon the difficulties you face on the way. Refrain from sins completely. Gain the blessings of this journey while becoming a complete embodiment of humility and humbleness.
