Book Name:Sadqay ki Baharain ma Afzal Sadqaat

I’tikaf on holiday’, a Madani activity out of 12 Madani activities

Dear Islamic brothers! In order to perform good deeds, to avoid committing sins, to develop the passion for giving Sadaqah (charity)  in the heart and to achieve success in this world and the Hereafter, always associate yourselves with the Madani environment of Dawat-e-Islami, and to remain steadfast in performing good deeds, wholeheartedly participate in the 12 Madani activities of the Zayli Halqah.

Yaum-e-Taateel I’tikaf is also one of the 12 Madani activities of the Zayli Halqah. Therefore, all the Islamic brothers are requested to observe Yaum-e-Taateel I’tikaf to receive rewards.

Dear Islamic brothers! To continue sitting in a Masjid for the pleasure of  Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ is also a great worship which is called I’tikaf. I’tikaf is observed either on Friday or on Sunday after Fajr to Friday Salah or according to the occasion, from ‘Asr to Maghrib in new and weak areas of the city, as well as villages and rural areas, in order to associate the people with the Madani environment of Dawat-e-Islami.

If the students of Jami’a-tul-Madinah join the Islamic brothers, who go to surrounding areas/villages from other areas to observe I’tikaf during a holiday’, it will be excellent. The students, who go to a village from Jami’a-tul-Madinah after Fajr Salah, should be accompanied by a teacher.

First of all, the Halqahs of teaching and learning Sunan and Du’as must arranged. An area visit for calling people towards righteousness should be made before the Friday Salah. After the Friday Salah, a Madani Halqah of local people must be arranged and after the ‘Asr Bayan, they should return.

Dear Islamic brothers! Whenever Sadaqah and charity are discussed, their excellence is also mentioned, however the idea usually enters our minds that Sadaqat refers to possessions and these virtues are also related to this Sadaqah.
