barley.” (This refers to them being taken out of Hellfire)

I shall go and extract them. Upon my return, I shall extol my Lord with those praises and prostrate before Him. It will be said:          يَا مُحَمَّدُ اِرْفَعْ رَاْسَكَ، وَقُلْ يُسْمَعْ لَكَ، وَسَلْ تُعْطَ، وَاشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعْ – “O Muhammad! Raise your head! Speak, and it shall be heard. Ask, and it shall be granted. Intercede, and your intercession shall be accepted.”

I shall again say, يَا رَبِّ، أُمَّتِيْ أُمَّتِيْ – “O my Lord! My Ummah! My Ummah!” It shall be said, “Make your way and extract (from Hell) anybody from your Ummah who has even a mustard seed of faith in their heart.” I shall go and bring them out. I shall return, extol my Lord with those praises, and prostrate before Him.

It shall be said: يَا مُحَمَّدُ اِرْفَعْ رَاْسَكَ، وَقُلْ يُسْمَعْ لَكَ، وَسَلْ تُعْطَ، وَاشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعْ – “O Muhammad! Raise your head! Speak, and it shall be heard. Ask, and it shall be granted. Intercede, and your intercession shall be accepted.”

I shall again say, يَا رَبِّ، أُمَّتِيْ أُمَّتِيْ – “O my Lord! My Ummah! My Ummah!” Allah shall declare, “Make your way, and whoever has faith in their heart even less than a mustard seed; you are to remove them from the Fire."

I shall go and do exactly this.^[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Mufti Aḥmad Yār Khan رَحْمَۃُ اللہِ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ  writes:

Remember, we were unable to praise Allah on our own until we were taught to do so by the Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ .
