Remaining Madani Pearls of Dhikr and Durūd
Allah Almighty's sending of durūd means bestowing mercy, whereas the durūd of the angels and ours is a supplication for mercy.[1]
1. Reciting durūd is, in fact, an excellent method of supplicating in the court of Allah.[2]
2. Reciting durūd and salām is a means of attaining the pleasure of Allah Almighty and His Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.[3]
3. For attaining blessings, advancing in spiritual recognition, and gaining proximity to the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, there is no greater means than the abundant recitation of durūd and salām.[4]
4. Durūd sharīf is a means for the acceptance of supplications.[5]
5. It is sufficient for the removal of all worries and the fulfilment of all needs.[6]
6. Durūd sharīf is an expiation for sins.[7]
7. It serves as a substitute for charity and is even superior to it.[8]
8. Durūd sharīf wards off calamities.
