8.   Reduction in the produce of fields and gardens.

9.   Bounties being taken away.

10.   The heart remaining worried at all times.

11.   Being afflicted with sudden, incurable illness.

12.   Becoming subject to the curse of Allah, His angels, Prophets and pious people.

13.   The light of faith being removed from the face, leading to it becoming dark.

14.   Modesty being taken away.

15.   Disgrace, humiliation and failure surrounding a person.

16.   Not being able to recite kalimah at the time of death.

Alongside these, there are many more terrible outcomes of sinning which become openly apparent even in this world.[1]

Dear Islamic brothers! You have heard how many negative worldly effects there are of sinning, such as becoming unwell, being deprived from acts of worship, mental issues, and constant tension. If we look closely, we will find a huge number of people suffering from these things. Sadly, we believe that these ailments afflict us due to other reasons. But in reality, these all happen because of our sins.

We should all try our absolute best to refrain from sin, and only then can we avoid its negative effects in this world and the Hereafter. Always remember, we may be able to bear pain in this world, but the punishment of the Hereafter is something we will never, ever, be able
