three days, but it still did not rain. Allah Almighty then sent a revelation:
‘O, Musa! I will not accept your Du’a, nor the Du’a of those who are with you,
because there is a tale-teller among them.’ Sayyiduna Musa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام humbly asked: ‘O Allah Almighty! Who is he, so we may exclude
him?’ Allah Almighty replied: ‘O Musa! I
stop people from this.’ Sayyiduna Musa
عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام commanded the Bani Israil to repent

Dear Islamic brothers! Tale-telling not only negatively effects the person who does it, but other people around him. We should try out best to keep our tongue pure from not only tale-telling, but every kind of evil. The tongue is apparently a very small piece of flesh, but it is a great blessing of Allah Almighty. Perhaps only a mute person can appreciate its importance. Correct usage of the tongue can make a person enter Paradise, and ill usage of it can make a person enter Hellfire. The one who uses his tongue to recite the Holy Quran and Salat upon the Prophet, will enter Paradise with the mercy of Allah Almighty.
The one who uses his tongue to swear at Muslims, backbite, tell-tales, or blame others, will becoming deserving of punishment. If a non-believer recites ‘لَآ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اللہ (ﷺ)’ wholeheartedly, then he gets purified from the filth of disbelief and Shirk [polytheism]. The utterance of this phrase from his tongue removes the filth of all his previous sins. The utterance of this blessed statement from his tongue, makes him pure from sins the way he was pure the day he was born. It was their tongue that cleansed them from disbelief. If only! We could learn how to use our tongues in the right way. We should abandon having conversations that consist of backbiting, tale-telling and blaming others. Indeed, if we use our tongue according to the Will of Allah Almighty and His Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, then we will have a house prepared for us in Paradise.
If we use our tongue to recite the Holy Quran, perform dhikr of Allah
