present gifts using donations. Furthermore, one should not intend to establish personal relationships by presenting these gifts.
٭Ensure the safety of the donations collected at the donation stalls. One way of doing this could be that as you receive donations in the form of cash and cheque, instead of keeping them with you for more than 1 or 2 days, submit them to your relevant responsible Islamic brother or the finance department according to your organisational procedure from time to time with complete details and clarity of the purposes of the donations. Moreover, you must obtain the ‘receipt for responsible Islamic brothers’ or the ‘receipt for office’.
٭Stalls should be set up from 1st of Ramadan till Eid Salah for around 2 hours or more every single day.
٭During the last 10 days of Ramadan in particular, ensure that stalls are set up every single night at well-populated, prominent and safe locations.
٭Donation stalls set up before Sala-tul-Jumu’ah should be packed up before the first Azan starts. Keep all the donations, record of the kinds and purposes of the received donations along with other pieces of equipment of stalls at a safe place and then attend the speech, sermon and Salah.
٭If donation stalls are set up outside a Masjid before certain Salahs, then make sure to offer Sunnah Salah before congregational Salahs besides offering the Fard Salah with congregation in that Masjid. Similarly, after Fard Salah has been offered, make sure to offer the Sunnah Salah after the Fard Salah and only then set up the stall again, because offering Salah is necessary in every situation.
٭From the 27th night of Ramadan, set up donation stalls after every Salah inside or outside the Masjid (wherever you are permitted to do so). Similarly, on the day of Edi-ul-Fitr, set up stalls at the entrances, exits and the paths leading to the graveyards and the place where Eid Salah is offered.
