Rather, we will be patient and become engrossed in the imagination of the reward of patience such that we do not even feel the pain of the difficulties.

We also learn that Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal رَحْمَةُ اللهِ عَلَيْه was also a great devotee of the Holy Prophet. He رَحْمَةُ اللهِ عَلَيْه forgave Mu’tasim Billah just because he was a descendent of the one who was related to the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, i.e. Sayyiduna ‘Abbas رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ, the uncle of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Just ponder! The one who respects the descendant of the relative of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم so much, then how much devotion and love will he have for the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم himself?

Therefore, we should also respect the descendants of the Holy Prophet          صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, his companions, his family رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُم; rather, we must respect and revere everything related to the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Moreover, we should adopt such an environment where the respect of the Prophet and the love, respect and reverence of these esteemed personalities are instilled within our hearts.

One Madani activity from the 12 Madani activities; ‘Individual Effort’

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه the Madani environment of the Madani movement of the devotees of the Prophet makes people the devotees of the Prophet and teaches the respect and reverence of the noble personalities. Therefore, we should firmly attach ourselves to this Madani environment and sincerely start doing individual effort upon others to also join.

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه the persuasion of doing individual effort is also mentioned in the booklet called 72 Madani In’amaat. Therefore, the 22^nd Madani In’aam is:

Today, did you try to convince at least two Islamic brothers through individual effort, towards Madani Qafilah, Madani In’amaat and other Madani activities?

The 52^nd Madani In’aam is:

Right after the Ijtima this week, did you come forward for putting the individual effort on new Islamic brothers, noting down their names, address and contact numbers? (Meet at least four such Islamic brothers and take the contact number of at least one of them. Also stay in touch with them thereafter.)

٭    The number of people offering Salah with congregation increases through the blessing of individual effort.
