passion for goodness and kindness; greed teaches a person to become selfish;  greed removes the passion of sympathy from the heart of a person; greed brings about disgrace and humiliation in the world and the Hereafter; greed makes a person suffer from restlessness; greed makes a person lonely; greed destroys a person completely and the consequence of greed is extremely horrible. In short, the perils of greed are so many that اَلْاَمَان وَالْحَفِیْظ.

Therefore it is wise to adopt contentment and simplicity by abstaining from greed and keeping an eye on the wealth of others. In this way, our life will also be spent in a peaceful way and we will also receive many blessings of it. From the above-mentioned parable this Madani pearl has also been obtained that the consequence of conspiring against someone else is very bad because finally one day she who digs a pit for others, falls in it herself.

He who digs a pit for others falls in it himself

Sayyiduna Abdullah Bin Abbas رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُمَا has narrated that once Sayyiduna Ka’b رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ said to him: It is stated in the blessed Torah that the person who digs a pit for his brother falls into it himself. Sayyiduna Abdullah Bin Abbas رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُمَا has said: The same kind of subject is also present in the Holy Quran. Sayyiduna Ka’b رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ asked: Where is it? He رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ replied: Recite this Ayah:

وَ لَا یَحِیْقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّیِّئُ اِلَّا بِاَهْلِهٖؕ  

Translation from Kanz-ul-Iman: And the evil scheming befalls only those who scheme it. (Part 22, Surah Al-Faatir, Ayah 43)

Do not conspire against anyone

Sayyiduna Imam Zuhri رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه has narrated that the Beloved Rasool           صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: You do not conspire against anyone and nor help any conspirer because Allah Almighty has said:

وَ لَا یَحِیْقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّیِّئُ اِلَّا بِاَهْلِهٖؕ
