The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated, ‘The first deed for which a bondman will be called to account on the Day of Judgment is his Salah. If his Salah is correct, he will attain salvation and success, but if there is a defect in it, he will be disgraced and destroyed.’ (Sunan-ut-Tirmizi, vol. 1, pp. 421, Hadees 413)
Dear Islamic brothers! The method of offering Salah, virtues of offering Salah and warnings for missing Salah have been mentioned in blessed Ahadees from which the significance of Salah is judged properly. The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated, ‘Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has made five Salah obligatory for bondmen; the one who offers them and does not waste any of them considering their right to be ordinary, so there is a promise for him from the mercy of Allah Pak that He عَزَّوَجَلَّ will make him enter Paradise and the one who does not offer them so for him there is no promise from the mercy of Allah Pak and it is up to Him whether He عَزَّوَجَلَّ torments him or makes him enter Paradise. Dear Islamic brothers! Wherever in the Holy Quran and blessed Ahadees, we have been commanded to offer Salah, it means that we have to offer Salah with all obligatory and Wajib acts. It is also one of the Wajib acts of Salah that it should be offered with Jama’at. In Ayah 43 of Surah Al-Baqarah, part 1, it is stated:
وَ اَقِیْمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَ اٰتُوا الزَّكٰوةَ وَ ارْكَعُوْا مَعَ الرّٰكِعِیْنَ(۴۳)
Translation from Kanz-ul-Iman: And keep the (obligatory) prayer established, and pay the charity, and bow your heads with those who bow (in prayer).
(Part 1, Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 43)
