3 It is narrated: On the Day of Judgement, a destitute neighbour will make a claim against his rich neighbour, ‘O my Lord! [Please] ask him why he deprived me of his kind treatment and why he closed his door for me.’ (Ibid)

4 A person reverently said, ‘Ya Rasoolallah صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! It is mentioned that so-and-so woman offers Salah, keeps Sawm and gives charity all in abundance but there is another thing; she bothers her neighbours with her tongue.’ He صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘She is in Hell.’ They said, ‘It is often mentioned that so-and-so woman performs (Nafl acts of worship like) Salah, Sawm and charity in small number. She gives pieces of cheese in charity and does not bother her neighbours with her tongue.’ He صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘She is in Paradise.’

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب              صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Du’a when afflicted by the evil eye

In the Madani Halqahs of the weekly Sunnah-inspiring Ijtima’ of Dawat-e-Islami today, the ‘Du’a when afflicted by the evil eye’ will be taught. The Du’a is as follows:

 بِسْمِ اللّٰہ  اَللّٰھُمَّ اَذْھِبْ  حَرَّھَا  وَ بَرْدَھَا  وَ وَصَبَھَا

Translation: Allah’s Name (I) begin with, O Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! Remove the heat and the cold and the calamity of this (evil eye) from him.
