Dear Islamic brothers! Our body parts are functioning properly, eyes can see, we do not have any trouble while coming and going [towards Masjid], even then the unwise deceived by Nafs and Satan do not offer Salah with Jama’at due to their heedlessness and laziness and if those who offer Salah with Jama’at go to a feast, so due to the fear of food being finished and overcome by the greed for eating delicious food, they become so much indulged in eating food that they forget to offer Salah with Jama’at.

Therefore, the host should also ensure that he must arrange the feast in a way that no Salah time falls during its timings. If the time of Salah approaches due to being late, so despite being too much busy, all guests and host should immediately head towards the Masjid. Attending Jama’at-e-Aula in the Masjid is Wajib until and unless someone has a Shar’i compulsion. If someone holds Jama’at at home or any other place after missing the Jama’at of Masjid without any Shar’i reason, he will commit the sin of missing Wajib.
