persuade people to follow in their footsteps, to make people travel with Madani Qafilahs, to encourage the visitors to attend the Halqahs of the Madani Qafilah at different timings as per the schedule and to motivate them to act upon Madani In’amaat.

Apart from this, this Majlis call people towards righteousness and to convey the Madani message of Dawat-e-Islami to the visitors of the shrine through distributing the books and booklets published by Maktaba-tul-Madinah.

Dear Islamic brothers! Today, we are fortunate enough to have been privileged to hear about the thirst for Islamic knowledge of pious saint of Allah, Sayyiduna Daata ‘Ali Hajwayri’. May Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ bless us for his sake!

اٰمِيۡن بِجَاهِ النَّبِيِّ الۡاَمِيۡن صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيۡهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب              صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Summary of speech

Dear Islamic brothers! Today, we have heard about the yearning for Islamic knowledge of Sayyiduna Daata Ganj Bakhsh ‘Ali Hajwayri رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه.

We have heard that Daata ‘Ali Hajwayri رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه used to be fully engrossed in acquiring Islamic knowledge so much that evening would pass but he رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه would not even think about drinking water. Would that, by virtue of the blessings of Daata ‘Ali Hajwayri رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه, we respect and value our time instead of wasting time in using mobile phones, and chatting with friends, etc.!

If only we would also be blessed with the passion for acquiring Islamic knowledge

Not only the teachers of Daata Ganj Bakhsh, but the king of that time was also very much impressed by the yearning for Islamic knowledge of Daata ‘Ali Hajwayri رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه.

The family of Daata ‘Ali Hajwayri was the embodiment of knowledge and practicing [upon the knowledge], piety and ascetic.
