Dear Islamic brothers! The Du’as of those who fear Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ are very effective because the moment it comes out from their mouths, it is heard in the court of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ. Their Du’as remove troubles and worries, it blesses a person with piety and with the passion to worship. Therefore, we should not only get the Du’as of the pious people, but we should also follow in their footsteps. In addition to this, we should protect ourselves from bad company and we should have the company of good people.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب       صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Weekly-Sunnah inspiring Ijtima’—one of the 12 Madani Activities

Dear Islamic brothers! Associate yourselves with the Madani environment of Dawat-e-Islami and take part in the 12 Madani activities of the Zayli Halqahs to attain the blessings of Du’a, to shed tears in Du’a and to learn and teach the manners of Du’a. One of the 12 Madani activities is ‘to attend the weekly Sunnah-inspiring Ijtima’. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه عَزَّوَجَلَّ, the Du’as which are made in the Sunnah-inspiring Ijtima’aat, are certainly answered because the Zikr (remembrance) of the pious people are done there and that place where the Zikr of the pious people of Allah is done, the mercy of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ is continuously showered.

Sayyiduna Imam Sufyan Bin ‘Uyaynah رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ has said: عِنۡدَ ذِكۡرِالصَّالِحِيۡنَ تَنۡزِلُ الرَّحۡمَةُ ‘Mercy descends at the time of the Zikr of pious people.’

Just ponder, how can Du’as not be answered where mercy continuously falls? A’la Hadrat رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه has said: Blessings lies in Jama’at (congregation) and making Du’a in the congregation of Muslims has a greater chance of being answered. Islamic scholars have stated: If forty righteous Muslims gather somewhere, one of them must be a Wali [i.e. friend] of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ.
