Salah, he will still earn reward as though he had physically performed these deeds himself.[1]
4. Islamic sisters should make IꜤtikāf in Masjid-e-Bayt, which is the place in a woman’s home in which she has specified to offer Salah in.[2]
5. A person can leave the Masjid for only two things when performing IꜤtikāf. Firstly, a Shar’i need, such as offering JumuꜤah Salah, and secondly, an inherent physical need.[3]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Du’a before entering the masjid
In accordance with the schedule of the weekly Sunnah-inspired Gathering of Dawat-e-Islami, we will now memorize a dua. This week’s dua is what we should recite before entering the masjid.
اَللّٰہُمَّ افْتَحْ لِی اَبْوَابَ رَحمَتِکَ
Translation: O Allah, open the doors of Your Mercy for me.[4]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Method of collective accountability (72 Pious Deeds)
The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said, “Pondering ˹over the Hereafter˺ for a moment is better than 60 years of worship.”[5]
