Crying in Fear of ALLAH
shake in fear. He would advise people: “If you knew the condition of those lying beneath the earth, you would melt away out of fear right where you stand!”[1]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! Let us consider some Sunan and manners of sneezing, referenced from Shaykh Ilyas al-Qadiri’s book, 101 Madani Pearls. Before that, we begin with two Aḥādīth.
1.The beloved Prophetصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم declared, “Sneezing is loved by Allah, whilst He dislikes yawning.”[2]
2.The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم proclaimed, “When somebody sneezes and says اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه, the angels say, رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ. If he says رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ, the angels say, ‘May Allah have mercy upon you.’”[3]
3.When sneezing, one should lower the head, cover the mouth, and keep the sound low, as raising the voice while sneezing is foolishness.[4]
