Book Name:Shan e Ali رضی اللہ عنہ Bazaban e Nabi ﷺ
O devotees of the Companions and Ahl al-Bayt! It is evident from this Hadith that love for Sayyidunā Ali رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ is a sign of faith, and hatred of him (مَعاذَ اللہ) is a sign of hypocrisy.
ꜤAllāmah Ibn Ḥajar رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه writes:
It was the practice of the noble Companions عَـلَيْهِمُ الرِّضْوَانْ to determine a person’s faith or hypocrisy by their hatred of Sayyidunā Ali رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ. Whenever they saw someone who had animosity towards Sayyidunā Ali رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ, they would know he was a hypocrite. [1]
سُبْحٰنَ اللہ May Allah Almighty grant us true love for Sayyidunā Ali رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ and make our hearts repositories of love for him.

The Jews harboured hatred for ꜤĪsā عَلَیْہِ السَّلَام to the extent that they slandered his mother (Sayyidatunā Maryam رَحمۃُ اللہِ عَلَیْہا), and the
