Dear Islamic brothers, as we approach the end of the bayan, I will now have the honour of mentioning the virtue of the Sunnah and some etiquettes of life. Whosoever holds firm to my Sunnah when my Ummah is facing tribulation, he will receive the reward of 100 martyrs.”[1]

Visiting the sick is a Sunnah

Here are two narrations of the Prophet

1.   Whosoever visits a sick person, he sits in the gardens of Paradise. When he stands, 70,000 angels supplicate for him until the night.[2]

2.   Whosoever visits his sick Muslim brother with the hope of attaining reward, he will be distanced from Hell by 70 years.[3]

O devotees of the Prophet! Visiting the ill is a Sunnah of the Prophet

*   Whenever the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم received news that his companions were ill, he would visit them.
