Imam Pak or Yazeed Paleed

Book Name:Imam Pak or Yazeed Paleed

through their speech or action, that person shall be with the ruler (they shall be both punished equally).’[1]

Hear this, O people! These individuals (Yazid and his followers) have sought to make obeying Satan necessary, and they have abandoned obeying Allah. They have spread discord, crossed the boundaries of Allah, made haram into halal, and halal into haram. I am rightful of this (it is compulsory for me to stop Yazid and his oppression).”

O devotees of the Companions and Ahl al-Bayt! O devotees of Imam Husayn! Every single word from this khutbah indicates Imam Husayn رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ fought against irreligiosity. Imam Husayn رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ fought against oppression and transgression. Imam Husayn رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ stood as firm as a mountain against all forms of sin and disobedience. O devotees of Imam Husayn! Think carefully! What direction are we going in? The core of Imam Husayn’s رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ objective in battle was to oppose and uproot irreligiosity. He fought to remove anti-Islamic practices and uphold the religion of Islam. We must think carefully.

Those who call themselves Husayni or servants of Imam Husayn nowadays; are they inadvertently aiding the cause of irreligiosity? Consider this: Yazid was a fornicator and adulterer. Is adultery not becoming more prominent in society today? Yazid wanted to live
