aunty said the young man, ‘Go and ask the reason why this happened? (i.e. what was the wisdom behind the announcement of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ?)’ When the young man presented himself and asked the reason, Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ said: ‘I heard the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم say, ‘The Mercy of Allah Almighty does not descend upon the nation which has people who break ties.’ (Az-Zawajir ‘Aniktiraf Al-Kaba`ir, vol. 2, p. 153)

The well-known Quranic commentator, Hakeem-ul-Ummah, Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan Na’eemi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه states: ‘If there is a nation in which there is an individual who violates the rights of his relatives and the other people aid him in this sin, or do not prevent him from this oppression despite having the ability, then all of them are deprived of mercy. (Mirat-ul-Manajih, vol. 6, p. 529)

Therefore, we should be kind towards our relatives and maintain ties of kinship, and make peace with those who are upset with us and never break ties of kinship in the future.

Dear Islamic brothers! In order to attain a passion for maintaining ties of kinship, to stay away from breaking ties, to become punctual in Salah and to attain steadfastness upon other righteous works, we should remain attached with the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami at all times; اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه we will attain immeasurable goodness in the world and the Hereafter. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه, Dawat-e-Islami is engaged in spreading the call to righteousness in over 108 departments throughout the world.

One department from these is known as ‘Jami’aat-ul-Madinah.’ اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه, there are 845 Jami’aat-tul-Madinah, both in Pakistan and overseas, in which around 60,733 male and female students are studying Dars-e-Nizami (Aalim Course). According to the latest information, approximately 10,856 Islamic brothers and Islamic sisters have attained the priceless pearls of knowledge and graduated.
