Du’a to be recited during Wudu

According to the schedule of the weekly Ijtima’ of Dawat-e-Islami, the Du’a to be recited during Wudu will be memorised.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْلِي ذَنْبِي وَوَسِّعْ لِي فِي دَارِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي رِزْقِي

(Sunan Kubra lil-Nasa`ee, vol. 6, pp. 24, Raqm 9908)

Translation: O Allah Almighty! Forgive me and give me blessing and abundance in my home and grant me blessings in my sustenance.

Dear Islamic Brothers! It is very virtuous to recite this Du’a whilst performing Wudu.

Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash’ari رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ says: I presented myself in the court of the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and he صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was performing Wudu. I heard him reciting this Du’a: اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْلِي ذَنْبِي وَوَسِّعْ لِي فِي دَارِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي رِزْقِي. Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash’ari رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ says: I asked: O Prophet of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! I have heard you reciting Du’a in such a way. He صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم replied: Has anything been left out? (Sunan Kubra lil-Nasa`ee, vol. 6, pp. 24, Raqm 9908)

سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه We learn that this Du’a is so virtuous that if it is recited during Wudu, it is as if a bondsman asks the creator for all that is good in this world and the Hereafter. (Derived from Khazeena-e-Rahmat, pp. 84)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Method of collective Fikr-e-Madinah (72 Madani In’amaat)

Saying of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم: Pondering (over the Hereafter) for a moment is better than the worship of 60 years.
