over trivial things. Fortunately, by the individual efforts of an Islamic brother he started observing I’tikaf in the last 10 days of blessed Ramadan in the Masjid of his area. During the I’tikaf he saw many beautiful dreams and was greatly relieved. After this he was privileged to observe I’tikaf for two more years. Once the Muazzin of his Masjid made an individual effort on him and brought him to Faizan-e-Madinah, the global Madani centre of Dawat-e-Islami, the Madani movement of devotees of Rasool, Karachi to attend the weekly Sunnah-inspiring Ijtima in which a preacher of Dawat-e-Islami was giving a Sunnah-inspiring speech. He saw such a blooming face first time in his life. He was captivated by the attraction and luminosity of the preacher’s face. He then associated himself with the Madani environment of Dawat-e-Islami, the Madani movement of devotees of Rasool.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب           صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

O devotees of Rasool! Usually it is the heartfelt desire of every father that ‘my child should obey me, treat me well, be pious and abstinent, should have respect and good character in the society’, but usually the result is contrary to it. Why? Of course, how can the father who is unaware of the basic Islamic rules of bringing up a child, who is not practising and who is deprived of the blessings of good environment, give good upbringing to his child? Perhaps that’s why nowadays the standard of bringing up a child has become this that if a child does not work, takes a day off from his school, coaching centre, tuition or academy or becomes lazy in this matter, does not listen to his parents when they ask him to attend a ceremony or wear a specific dress and shoes, asks many questions or becomes stubborn in many other worldly matters, he is scolded, advised for many hours, even he is beaten. On the contrary, if the same child misses Salahs or does not offer Salah with Jama’at, takes a day off or goes to Madrasah or Jami’ah late, wanders the whole night, establishes impermissible relations with non-Mahrams via mobile and social media, misuses mobile phone and internet, falls prey to Na-Mahram’s love, watches films and dramas, listens to songs and music, adopts impermissible fashion, does not care about Halal and Haraam, drinks wine, gambles, tells lies, backbites, gives and takes bribe, sits in the company of the people of corrupt belief, spends money on useless acts, and commits many other evils,
