٭ If the sacrificer gets someone else to slaughter the animal and also places his own hand on the knife at the time of the Qurbani so that they will jointly be slaughtering the animal, then reciting بِسۡـمِ اللّٰهِ is Wajib for both of them in this case. ٭ The sacrificer can eat the meat of the sacrificed animal and can also give and serve it to the rich as well as the poor. In fact, it is Mustahab for him to eat a little meat. (Bahar-e-Shari’at, vol. 3, pp. 345, part 15)

٭ In case of performing a Qurbani by taking a share in a cow, it   is necessary to distribute meat among the sharing partners by weighing the meat. The distribution of meat by estimation is not permissible.

٭ To divide the meat of the Qurbani into three shares is Mustahab, not essential. If the sacrificer wants, he can use the entire meat at his home or can give all the meat to his relatives and friends or he may distribute all of it to the poor. (Fatawa Razawiyyah, vol. 20, pp. 253)

Du’a of getting oneself included in the list of pious persons

In the Madani Halqahs of the weekly Sunnah-inspiring Ijtima’ of Dawat-e-Islami today, the ‘Du’a of getting oneself included in the list of pious persons’ will be taught as per the schedule. The Du’a is as follows:

( اَللّٰھُمَّ ) رَبَّنَاۤ اٰمَنَّا بِمَاۤ اَنْزَلْتَ وَ اتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُوْلَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشّٰهِدِیْنَ(۵۳)

Translation from Kanz-ul-Iman: ‘O our Lord! We have believed in what You have sent down, and we obeyed the Messenger, therefore write us amongst the witnesses of the truth.’
