٭ It is preferable to slaughter the Qurbani animal with your own hands. Likewise, it is also preferable to remain present at the time of slaughter with the intention of gaining reward. (Ablaq Ghoray Suwar, pp. 17)

٭ Even though Qurbani is not Wajib upon a person who has not yet attained puberty, it is good to do it on his behalf (getting permission is not necessary). (Ablaq Ghoray Suwar, pp. 9)

٭ While doing Qurbani on behalf of your adult children or wife do get their permission first. If you do not get their permission, then the Wajib will not be fulfilled on their behalf. (Bahar-e-Shari’at, vol. 3, pp. 334, part 15; summarised)
