Book Name:Safr-e-Miraaj Or Ilm-e-Ghaib-e-Mustafa
back against Bayt-ul-Ma’moor (Qiblah of angels) where 70,000 angels enter every day. Every Nabi welcomed the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم by saying ‘Welcome! O righteous Rasool’. Then he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was made to do a tour of Paradise. After this, he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم reached Sidra-tul-Muntaha. When the rain of Divine Noor fell on this tree, its shape instantly changed and then the Noor in such colourful lights appeared, which cannot be described in words. When Sayyiduna Jibra`eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام reached here, he stopped and said: Now I cannot move ahead further.
Then Allah Almighty blessed the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم after calling him to ‘Arsh, but rather above ‘Arsh to the place where Allah Almighty wanted him to reach. (Seerat-e-Mustafa, pp. 733-734)
It has been stated in the Holy Quran in these words: In Ayah 8 and 9 of Surah An-Najm, part 27 Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has stated:
ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلّٰىۙ(۸) فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَیْنِ اَوْ اَدْنٰىۚ(۹)
Translation from Kanz-ul-Iman: Then the Spectacle became closer, and came down in full view. So the distance between the Spectacle and the beloved was only two arms’ length, or even less.
Afterwards what happened there is beyond our intellect. Having beheld Allah Almighty, made a wonderful tour and seen clear signs from Allah Almighty, he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم came back to the earth and entered Bayt-ul-Muqaddas and mounted Buraaq to set out for Makkah Mukarramah. On the way, the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم saw all the stopovers from Bayt-ul-Muqaddas to Makkah and the caravans of traders of Quraysh. After passing through all these stages, when he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم reached Masjid-ul-Haraam, he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم slept because much part of the night was still left.
