front legs would become short and its back legs would become long; and when climbing down, its front legs would become long and back legs would become short. For this reason, in both cases, its back would remain even[1] and the blessed rider would face no trouble. (Sharh Zurqaani, vol. 8, pp. 75)

When the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم intended to get on it and went near it, it started jumping with delight. Having seen this, Sayyiduna Jibra’eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام placed his hand on its mane [hair of its neck] and said: O Buraaq! Do you not feel shy? By Allah Almighty! No personage having more respect and miracles than the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has ever ridden on you. During this luminous journey, Sayyiduna Jibra’eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام, the chief of angels, was also accompanying him. (Sahih Bukhari, pp. 976, Hadees 3887)

Salah was offered at three places

During the journey, at one place, Sayyiduna Jibra’eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام humbly asked the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم to offer Salah after getting off. He صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم offered Salah. Sayyiduna Jibra’eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام humbly said: Do
