and I would eat little vegetables to overcome my hunger and sometimes I wouldn’t find even these vegetables. When I saw others in search of food, I would return empty-handed, as I did not feel it appropriate to eat as it may deprive others whom I thought needed food more than me and I would continue my studies and sleep hungry on the ground filled with pebbles.

مِرا حُبِّ دُنیا سے پیچھا چُھڑا دے       عطا اپنی اُلفت تُو کر غوثِ اعظم

شہا نفسِ اَمّارہ مغلوب ہو اَب                      ہو شیطان کا دُور شَر غوثِ اعظم

زَباں پر رہے میری یا پیر و مُرشِد                   تِرا ذِکر آٹھوں پَہر غوثِ اعظم

 

دِلوایئے جنّت                       غوثِ پاک

دو بدیوں سے نفرت                 غوثِ پاک

دو شوقِ عبادت                     غوثِ پاک

سرکار کی اُلفت                      غوثِ پاک

مرحبا یا غوثِ پاک      مرحبا یا غوثِ پاک     مرحبا یا غوثِ پاک

 

Dear Islamic brothers! Ponder over it that in the face of severe hardship and suffering, Sayyiduna Ghaus-e-A’zam رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه sought Islamic teachings and, in spite of this fact, never ever, not a single word of complaining and grievance came from his blessed mouth. Through the aforementioned happening, we have obtained following valuable Madani pearls that when someone comes across any trouble or anxiety, he should show patience keeping the virtues of patience in view and he should keep this thing in his mind that this world is a house of trials and tribulations in which lie loads of comforts and worldly pleasures along with great hardship and sorrows. Easiness and trouble go together. It is for the reason, since the humanity came into existence, general Muslims even the blessed saints رَحِمَهُمُ الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَالٰی and the blessed Ambiya عَـلَـيْهِمُ السَّلَام experienced various trials and misfortunes along with comforts and pleasures.
