Birds were made to obey Sayyiduna Dawood عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام whereas along with birds, many other animals (camels, wolves, lions etc.) have been made to obey the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

Iron used to become soft like wax in the hands of Sayyiduna Dawood عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام whereas a large stone became soft (i.e., like dough) in the blessed night of Mi’raaj for the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. (Dalaail-un-Nubuwwah, pp. 353, 539, Raqm 2)

Sayyiduna Dawood عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام had an incredibly eloquent voice whereas the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was also incredibly eloquent as it is mentioned in a blessed Hadees: ‘وَکَانَ نَبِیُّکُمْ اَحْسَنَھُمْ وَجْھًا وَ اَحْسَنَھُمْ صَوْتًا’ (And the [blessed] face of your Nabi was most beautiful and his voice was excessively eloquent). (Shumaail Muhammadiyyah, pp. 183, Hadees 303)

13. Characteristics of Sayyiduna Sulayman عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام

Sayyiduna Sulayman عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام was blessed with a grand kingdom whereas Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ granted authority to the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم whether to choose a kingdom along with Nubuwwah (Prophethood) or Bandagi (bondmanship). The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم liked bondmanship. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ granted him the keys of the treasures of the soil and granted him authority to hand it over to anybody. (Seerat-e-Rasool-e-‘Arabi, pp. 558)

 

کنجی تمہیں دی اپنے خزانوں کی خدا نے

محبوب کیا مالک و مختار بنایا

 

Sayyiduna Sulayman عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام was well acquainted with the languages of birds whereas the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was well acquainted with the languages of camels, wolves etc. Stone spoke to the Beloved and Blessed Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم understood their speech.

ہاں یہیں کرتی ہیں چڑیاں فریاد ہاں یہیں چاہتی ہے ہرنی داد

اِسی در پر شترانِ ناشاد گلۂ رنج و عَنا کرتے ہیں
