Sag-e-Madinah Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadiri Razavi عُـفِـیَ عَـنۡـهُ sends Salam from the core of his heart to all the lovers of the Holy Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم on the delightful celebration of Meelad Shareef.

 

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَرَحۡمَةُ اللّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ

اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ عَلٰي كُلِّ حَالٍ

 

تم بھی کر کے اُن کا چرچا اپنے دِل چمکاؤ

اُونچے میں اُونچا نبی کا جھنڈا گھر گھر میں لہراؤ

 

On the first night of Rabi’-ul-Awwal, make this announcement three times in all the Masajid:

‘Congratulations to all Islamic brothers and sisters! The moon of Rabi’-ul-Awwal has been sighted.’

 

ربیعُ النُّور اُمّیدوں کی دُنیا ساتھ لے آیا

دُعاؤں کی قَبولیَّت کو ہاتھوں ہاتھ لے آیا

 

Men’s shaving their beards or trimming it to less than a fist-length – both these acts are Haraam. For Islamic sisters not to observe Shar’i veiling is a Haraam act. By virtue of the auspicious occasion of Rabi’-ul-Awwal, Islamic brothers are requested to make an intention to grow a fistful beard permanently and Islamic sisters are requested to make the intention of observing Shar’i
