Attributes of Successful Trader
اے ملاوٹ کرنے والے مان جا خوف کر بھائی عذابِ نار کا
چھوڑ دو اے تاجرو! کم تولنا جُھوٹ چھوڑو بیچنے میں بولنا
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Importance of earning Halal
Dear Islamic brothers! Remember! It is a human need to desire and earn Halal sustenance for one’s parents, siblings, family members by means of business in a permissible way. The attention to earn Halal sustenance has been focused many times in the Holy Quran, Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has even persuaded and commanded [us] to continue with its search. It is stated in verse 11 of Surah An-Naba, part 30:
وَ جَعَلۡنَا النَّہَارَ مَعَاشًا ﴿۪۱۱﴾
Translation from Kanz-ul-Iman: And We have made the day for seeking livelihood. (Part 30, Surah An-Naba, verse 11)
It has been stated in another place:
فَانۡتَشِرُوۡ ا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَ ابۡتَغُوۡ ا مِنۡ فَضۡلِ اللّٰہِ
Translation from Kanz-ul-Iman: Then, disperse in the land and seek the grace of Allah. (Part 28, Surah Al-Jumu’ah, verse 10)
Dignity of seeking employment
Sayyiduna Ka’b Bin ‘Ujrah رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ has narrated that once, the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was sitting with the blessed companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُم. In the meantime, a young man passed by. Having seen a powerful and a strong man the blessed companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُم said, ‘Would that he could
