فَسۡـَٔلُوۡۤا اَہۡلَ الذِّکۡرِ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۷﴾
Translation from Kanz-ul-Iman: ‘O people, ask the people of knowledge if you do not know.’
(Part 17, Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 7)
It is mentioned in Tafseer Khaza’in-ul-Irfan: Because the person who is unaware has no alternative but to ask the people who know about it and it is the cure of the disease of ignorance that it is asked from the scholar and act upon his instruction.
Fortunate people who safeguard the trust
We should safeguard (all) the trusts and those who do so have been given the glad tiding of Jannah.
وَ الَّذِیۡنَ ہُمۡ لِاَمٰنٰتِہِمۡ وَ عَہۡدِہِمۡ رٰعُوۡنَ ۙ﴿۸﴾
Translation from Kanz-ul-Iman: ‘And those who keep proper regard for their trusts and their pledges.’
(Part 18, Surah Al-Mu’minoon, verse 8)
It is mentioned in ‘Tafseer Khaza’in-ul-Irfan’: Whether those trusts belong to Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ or creature, similarly the pledge, be belong to Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ or creature needs fulfilment.
The Noblest Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated: ‘Guarantee me six things and I guarantee you Jannah.
1. Whenever you speak say the truth. ‘
2. Fulfil your promises when you make them.
3. When you are entrusted with something, carry that trust.
4. Safeguard your private parts.
