collection of many events. It is not just one miracle; rather, it contains numerous miracles. Bear in mind that this was not merely a journey; the MiꜤrāj is a complete curriculum for life. If we read the events of the MiꜤrāj with the intention of learning, we find many points of wisdom and incomparable lessons. If we adopt these lessons and act upon them, both our life in this world and the Hereafter can be rectified. Let us listen to a few lessons from the journey of MiꜤrāj:

(1) Remain Steadfast upon the Natural Disposition (Firah)

It is mentioned in the narrations of MiꜤrāj that our Master صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم travelled from Makkah to Masjid alAqṣā. All the noble Prophetsعَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام  had been gathered here to manifest his lofty status. Upon reaching Masjid alAqṣā, Sayyidunā Jibrīl al-Amīnعَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام  called the azan, and the noble Prophetsعَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام  formed rows. They were waiting to see who would lead all the noble Prophets عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام  in prayer. At that moment, Sayyidunā Jibrīl al-Amīnعَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام  stepped forward, وَ اَخَذَ یَدَہٗ فَقَدَّمَہٗ took the hand of the beloved Master صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and brought him forward.[1]

Dear Islamic brothers! After performing prayer in Masjid alAqṣā, our beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم felt thirsty. Consequently, two vessels were presented to him:

1. One contained milk.

2. The other contained pure wine.

The Prophet of Mercyصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم  accepted the vessel of milk. Upon this, Sayyidunā Jibrīl al-Amīnعَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام  submitted:

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي هَدَاكَ لِلْفِطْرَةِ لَوْ أَخَذْتَ الْخَمْرَ غَوَتْ أُمَّتُكَ

Meaning: "All praise is for Allah Who guided you towards the natural disposition (firah). If you had accepted the vessel of wine, your Ummah would
