• The noble Quran and sacred Aḥādīth give absolute commands to show good conduct towards relatives and close kin.^[1]

• One’s parents are the most deserving of good conduct.^[2]

• Good conduct has many forms: giving gifts, helping them if they need assistance in any matter, greeting them, visiting them, sitting with them, conversing with them, and treating them with kindness and gentleness.^[3]

• Imam Abū Ḥanīfah said: “Remember! If you do not treat people with good conduct, they will become your enemies — even if they are your own parents.”^[4]

The 6 salat upon the Prophet and 2 duas that are recited in the Sunna-inspired weekly gatherings of Dawat-e-Islami:

اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ  وَ سَلِّمْ  وَبَارِكْ  عَلٰی  سَیِّدِنَا   مُحَمَّدٍ  النَّبِیِّ  الْاُمِّیِّ  الْحَبِیْبِ الْعَالِی  الْقَدْرِ الْعَظِیْمِ الْجَاہِ   وَ عَلٰی   اٰلِہٖ  وَ صَحْبِہٖ  وَ سَلِّمْ
