• The noble Quran and sacred Aḥādīth give absolute commands to show good conduct towards relatives and close kin.[1]

• One’s parents are the most deserving of good conduct.[2]

• Good conduct has many forms: giving gifts, helping them if they need assistance in any matter, greeting them, visiting them, sitting with them, conversing with them, and treating them with kindness and gentleness.[3]

• Imam Abū Ḥanīfah said: “Remember! If you do not treat people with good conduct, they will become your enemies — even if they are your own parents.”[4]

The remaining pearls of wisdom regarding good conduct will be mentioned in the training circles. Therefore, make sure to attend the training circles in order to learn about them.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The 6 salat upon the Prophet and 2 duas that are recited in the Sunna-inspired weekly gatherings of Dawat-e-Islami:

1. The alāt for the night preceding Friday

اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ  وَ سَلِّمْ  وَبَارِكْ  عَلٰی  سَیِّدِنَا   مُحَمَّدٍ  النَّبِیِّ  الْاُمِّیِّ  الْحَبِیْبِ الْعَالِی  الْقَدْرِ الْعَظِیْمِ الْجَاہِ   وَ عَلٰی   اٰلِہٖ  وَ صَحْبِہٖ  وَ سَلِّمْ
